This page covers azu.ac, the Azu Keyboard on Android, pager, and Azu accounts. It states what the products do today. It is not a license and it is not the Play listing.

Who runs this

Azu is published at azu.ac by the Play developer azu (support@azu.ac). Privacy questions go to that address, or the email on your azu.ac account.

What stays on the device

Typing into other apps stays in those apps. The keyboard does not upload every key. Clipboard history, theme, layout, and similar settings stay on the phone unless you send them yourself.

The try box on this site keeps your preview in the browser. It is a short public try. It does not create an account.

When you choose to share

• Microphone. Speech-to-text when you tap mic. Audio is used for that turn, not kept as a voice archive on Azu servers.
• Camera. Only if you scan a pager code or attach a photo.
• Contacts and location. Only if you insert them into a pager or attachment. We do not upload your full address book.
• Photos and files. Only the items you attach or send.
• Notifications and alarms. Scheduled pager or attach reminders you set.

Pager

Pager uses Google Firebase (sign-in and cloud store). A public pager code can point to your inbox. Message bodies are sealed on the device before they leave the phone. Delivery metadata (who, when, that a page exists) is stored so the inbox can list threads. Photos and files you attach follow the same send path, with a size cap.

hm, the writing assistant

Premium hm sends the text you submit to the model host we use for that reply (today DeepInfra, then Together). Use it only for text you are willing to send. We do not sell those prompts.

Dictionary, rates, and the site

Dictionary lookup can reach the Azu glossary host. The calculator may fetch public currency rates. The site and account forms run on Azu servers. Pages may load a small script host for the live preview. azu.ac counts page views in aggregate to run the site. We do not sell that count, and we do not keep the visitor address.

Accounts and Play

An azu.ac account stores the email and password you set, country, and optional phone or organisation fields for that profile. License keys and payment status stay with that account. A year code from this site unlocks keyboard Premium on the phone. Google Play still handles monthly Premium and Play-store yearly; Google’s terms apply to Play. A yearly Play purchase can mint an AYR- code for a 25% Pro Canvas year discount on this site.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the keyboard as an advertising ID graph. We do not ask children under 13 to create an account.

Request deletion

To ask Azu to delete data we hold for you, email support@azu.ac from the address you used, and write that you want your Azu data deleted. We will close the azu.ac account if you have one, and remove pager delivery records we stored for that request. Play subscription history stays with Google. Device settings, clipboard history, and other on-phone data go away when you clear app data or uninstall. We keep what the law requires, such as a payment record, for the period that applies.

How long and your choices

Device settings last until you clear app data or uninstall. Pager and account records last while the feature or account is active. You can close an azu.ac account from the signed-in panel, or write the Play contact email and ask us to close it. Uninstalling the keyboard removes what was only on that phone.
